About the clinician's workday
This opportunity is for an Orthopedic Surgeon to participate in a clinical trial study, where the group is testing a non-opioid pain medication by offering free arthroscopic surgeries for knee, hip, ankle, wrist, and elbow procedures at their surgery clinic. The surgeon will be required to perform these surgeries up to 2 days per week. After every 5 surgeries, there will be a review of the data. The need for a surgeon is expected for up to 6 months. The clinic operates with paper charts, and there is no call required. Follow-ups will be handled by nurses and primary care doctors, while the surgeon will manage discharge paperwork 3-5 days after surgery. This is the second trial of this medication.
